Hier haben wir ein seltenes Paar Geldbeutel aus Leder der Westminster Bank. Diese Taschen stammen wahrscheinlich aus dem späten viktorianischen 19. Jahrhundert bis zum frühen 20. Jahrhundert Edwardian. Beide Taschen haben einen Gladstone-Metallrahmen, der sich nach oben öffnet, mit einem am Öffner genieteten Messing-Namensschild. Diese beeindruckenden Artikel haben die original Westminster Limited Prägung auf der Vorderseite der Taschen und auf der oberen Vorderseite finden Sie ein Messingschild mit einem doppelten Schlosskasten und einem einzelnen Schlosskasten auf der hellbraunen Ledertasche. Sie finden auch das CHUBB LONDON-Logo mit seiner rückseitigen Seriennummer auf dem Schlossgesicht eingraviert. Diese Artikel sind geschichtsträchtig und würden ein interessantes Sammlerstück abgeben.
These bags where used to transfer the days takings to the bank and the Chubb 2 key detector lock was made to be almost impossible to pick and if tampered with, they would jam in the locked position.
Condition
The bags are unopened and I have no keys so I have no way of telling if the bags have any contents. Presumably the bank branch would keep the keys.
The only wear is some rubbing to the cosmetic leather covering to the the top and bottom with rust to the bear metal.The leather is exceptionally heavy and some of the stitching is loose to the bottom outside of the bags, but otherwise in excellent condition.
