Wir hatten das Glück, kürzlich auf diesen originalen Läufern auf dieses Paar früher Maschinistenstühle gestoßen zu sein. Diese frühen Industriestühle sind ikonisch in ihrer Verwendung von vulkanisierter Pappe für die Sitze und Rückenlehnen. Ein robustes und praktisches Material, das für die raue Umgebung der Fabrikhalle geeignet war. Ohne Stoffpolster konnten sie mit einem feuchten Tuch gereinigt werden, waren ziemlich feuerbeständig und formten sich nach jahrelangem Gebrauch sanft zu einer bequemen Bodenform. Weitere Hauptmerkmale sind ihre drehbaren Sitze, die auf einer Gewindebasis höhenverstellbar sind, Gummipuffer, die hinter der gebogenen Rückenlehne verwendet werden, um die Befestigung der Rückenlehne am Hauptrahmen abzufedern und eine gewisse Bewegung zu ermöglichen. Schließlich schweben diese Stühle auf ihren rund geformten Fließbandläufern, was wir für ein sehr seltenes Konzept halten. Eine wunderbare industrielle Ergänzung rund ums Haus oder in einer Restaurantbar oder einfachen Requisiten.

These chairs are in general good condition. They have some wear consistent with used chairs of this age.
